As many of you know I spent 19-years on the radio as a disc-jockey and play-by-play announcer. This fall I broadcast the "high school football game of the week" on K96.

It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's a "Snoopy Super Hero.

Shelby has been making plans for this Halloween since last year when she ended up in the emergency room (from her asthma) following a short trick-or-treat stint in our neighborhood.

This year she will not only be her hero Snoppy, but a "Snoopy Super Hero." Dad will be playing the roll of Charlie Brown and mom will be Lucy or Sally. We'll be making the rounds to Cedar Point, Bellvue and of course our neighborhood this October with our Peanuts Posse.

It�s very hard to believe that I was adopted almost one year ago on December 15, 2009.

It�s been a very eventful year with a lot of great memories and I just want to take this time to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I know it's has been awhile since my last blog, but we've been very busy.

Dad turned 40 and had something called a mid-life crisis. I don't quite understand, but his medications are making him feel better.

Mom turned 37 and is doing just fine.

We had a great summer. Check out my new pictures and movie with Charlie Brown.

Have a great fall. I can't decide if I want to be a princess or a cheerleader this year. Feel free to help me make a decision by leaving a comment.

Shelby's Birthday 2010

Instead of a traditional birthday party for Shelby this year she got to celebrate her special day from Friday � Monday.

The weekend included a pool party, a trip to African Safari, Jet Skis and a day at Cedar Point. It was great to celebrate Shelby�s first official birthday as a Knight, but now she thinks every day is her birthday.

She might have set a record at Cedar Point by riding the carousel ten times in one day, but the highlight of the day occurred when Nanny got stuck in a corvette car and daddy had to rescue her.

On this Mother's Day 2010 I wanted to take the time to thank my Mom for being the best.

She takes care of me, plays with me, feeds me and even stays up with me when I can't sleep.

I love you Mom and I'm so glad God placed me with you to be my "forever Mom."

I also want to thank my Grandma's, as well, for being so good to me. Thank you Nanny Sandy and Grammy Jean!

Easter Egg Hunt.

I went on my first Easter Egg Hunt over the weekend. The event was held at the Catawba Island Club near Port Clinton. I competed in the 0-6 year old age group and finished with four eggs. I received no help, except encouragement, from my mom and dad.

Shelby's Roller Coaster Ride

I got a roller coaster from Santa for Christmas and it's finally warm enough for me to start riding outside.

I was pretty unsure of the coaster at Christmas, but I'm a big girl now and I can handle it.

I know what you're thinking, didn't Santa bring you the princess car too for Christmas. The answer is yes, but I was awful good this year.

More Snow Adventures

Here's a surprise, we are getting more snow.

I asked my mom if I could take my car out in the snow to see how it handles and I was shocked. Mom and dad must have bought me the four wheel drive "princess express." Let's just hope dad can find the car charger before the battery runs out.

Shelby's Baptism

I was baptized on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Mommy and Daddy, along with my Uncle Chris, are making a promise to make sure that I'm raised in the faith. By the way, my dad and nanny were also baptized in the same church a long, long time ago.

We also had my Ohio adoption party on the same day. I'm so blessed to have so many people pray and care about me and I want each of you to know how much I appreciate the love you've shown to me and my parents in my first 19 months of life.
