Instead of a traditional birthday party for Shelby this year she got to celebrate her special day from Friday – Monday.
The weekend included a pool party, a trip to African Safari, Jet Skis and a day at Cedar Point. It was great to celebrate Shelby’s first official birthday as a Knight, but now she thinks every day is her birthday.
She might have set a record at Cedar Point by riding the carousel ten times in one day, but the highlight of the day occurred when Nanny got stuck in a corvette car and daddy had to rescue her.

Sunday, May 09, 2010I Love You Mom.
On this Mother's Day 2010 I wanted to take the time to thank my Mom for being the best.
She takes care of me, plays with me, feeds me and even stays up with me when I can't sleep.
I love you Mom and I'm so glad God placed me with you to be my "forever Mom."
I also want to thank my Grandma's, as well, for being so good to me. Thank you Nanny Sandy and Grammy Jean!

Monday, April 05, 2010Easter Egg Hunt.
I went on my first Easter Egg Hunt over the weekend. The event was held at the Catawba Island Club near Port Clinton. I competed in the 0-6 year old age group and finished with four eggs. I received no help, except encouragement, from my mom and dad.

Friday, March 05, 2010Shelby's Roller Coaster Ride
I got a roller coaster from Santa for Christmas and it's finally warm enough for me to start riding outside.
I was pretty unsure of the coaster at Christmas, but I'm a big girl now and I can handle it.

I know what you're thinking, didn't Santa bring you the princess car too for Christmas. The answer is yes, but I was awful good this year.

Here's a surprise, we are getting more snow.
I asked my mom if I could take my car out in the snow to see how it handles and I was shocked. Mom and dad must have bought me the four wheel drive "princess express." Let's just hope dad can find the car charger before the battery runs out.

I was baptized on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Mommy and Daddy, along with my Uncle Chris, are making a promise to make sure that I'm raised in the faith. By the way, my dad and nanny were also baptized in the same church a long, long time ago.
